WHAT TO EXPECT

PHASE 1 TRAINING

The VXN Phase 1 Instructor Training program is designed to prepare individuals to lead VXN classes in their local communities. Instructors will explore the vision and values of the VXN, understand the physical and mental benefits of dance, understand how to properly execute the movement and the science behind how people learn movement. We will go through teaching techniques, class components, VXN technique, and choreography. You will learn how to develop community, and expand their knowledge of movement, choreography, and instructorship. You will leave the VXN Instructor Training ready to start a fitness revolution in your community.

LEARN THE SCIENCE

You will understand the physical and mental benefits of dance, understand how to properly execute the movement and the science behind how people learn dance.

TECHNIQUE + CHOREOGRAPHY

We will go through VXN technique, Basic Moves, and the choreography needed to teach a VXN Class.

CLASS COMPONENTS

You will learn our proven teaching method, modifications, how to set-up the VXN class experience, curating playlists, creating a community, and more.

FAQ

  • ARE THERE PREREQUISITES?

    Any woman 18 years or older may complete our VXN Instructor Certification. There are no prerequisites for taking the VXN Instructor Certification. However, it helps if you’ve already taken a VXN class before or if you have previous experience in dance or teaching group exercise classes. If you’d like to gain some experience and get a feel for a VXN class, check out some on-demand classes by subscribing to our ​VXN Virtual Studio

  • WHAT IF I DON'T HAVE EXPERIENCE?

    No worries, many of our successful VXN Instructors were former clients who did not have any teaching or dance experience. We only need to see that you have the potential to recreate the VXN class experience.

  • WHEN DO I RECEIVE ACCESS TO THE VXN ONLINE CERTIFICATION COURSE?

    You will have a total of 30 days to complete your Online Certifications Program at your own pace. The course opens upon enrollment/when you purchase the course. If you need extra days, let us know and we will extend it for you.

  • DOES EVERYONE RECEIVE A CERTIFICATION UPON COMPLETION OF COURSE?

    No, not everyone who signs up will automatically receive a certification. It is important for us to have the same VXN experience everywhere it is taught. We need to see that you have the potential to execute VXN moves clearly and represent the brand effectively in your city. At the end of the course you will be asked to submit a set of videos which will be reviewed by your Master Trainer.

  • WHERE CAN I TEACH?

    You can teach anywhere and worldwide.

  • WHAT IF I DON'T PASS?

    If you didn’t pass on your first try, don’t worry. You will get a “pass pending” status and notes from your Master Trainer on what you need to work on for resubmission. You have 30 days to resubmit for approval.

  • IF I DON'T PASS, DO I GET A REFUND?

    No, our fee covers your access to our training materials and support from a Master Trainer.

  • WHAT IF I PAID FOR A CERT AND WON'T BE ABLE TO TAKE IT WITHIN THE 30 DAYS PERIOD?

    If you are unable to complete your course in 30 days, send an email to certifications@vxnworkout.com and we will extend your course time frame.

  • HOW DO I REMAIN AN ACTIVE INSTRUCTOR?

    In order to hold an active VXN Instructor License, you will need to be an active member of our Instructor Portal, the BASE for $29.99 a month. As with any reputable occupation, a professional is expected to keep up-to-date on industry knowledge and stay fresh with their industry skills. VXN wants it’s certified instructors to be the best in the industry and maintain a high level of expertise and proficiency. If the Base is not active you are NOT allowed to teach a VXN Class. This is important for us in order to ensure that the VXN experience is the same in all areas. It is also important to us that you are successful and are representing the brand to the best of your ability.
